Matt served with the Navigators at the University of Missouri, the University of Kansas, and the University of Northern Iowa. He also has pastored churches in AZ and CA. His personal mission statement is to 'Build Up & Set Free'.

Matt provides Christ-centered professional coaching for engaged and married couples. He has a special interest in awakening hearts and healing the wounds of life's difficult journey, especially with marriages.

He brings over thirty years of ministry experience to help the hurting, struggling, and hopeless. Using God's narrative of love and grace, he engages those who want to redeem the argument, burst through communication barriers, walk through affairs, emotional/verbal/physical/sexual/spiritual abuse, addictions that impact personal and married life, and move into the next growth opportunity God has for them.

Matt provides a trusting professional relationship where couples will be comfortable and safe. Heart work is hard work, and couples will find grace-filled encouragement along the way.

Matt is a Licensed Professional Counselor and registered with the state of Florida to provide telehealth, https://flhealthsource.gov/telehealth/.  He is also a Certified Professional Coach and a Board-Certified Master Life Coach through AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors.) Matt and Cheri live in Northwest Missouri. They have three adult children.
