Charlene Richardson has been the Director of Covenant Counseling Center since its inception in 2015. She has been a member of the Covenant Church of Naples | PCA staff since 1999, serving in administrative and ministry positions.
Charlene received her MA in Mental Health Counseling and Graduate Certificate in Bible/Theology from Columbia International University in Columbia, SC. She is a Florida licensed mental health counselor, Qualified Supervisor of Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
In addition, Charlene is certified as a Master Life Coach through American Association of Christian Counselors and as an Enneagram Master Coach with a Gospel-centered approach. She holds intensive training certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and PREPARE/ENRICH for premarital and marital counseling.
After spending more than 20 years in church work, she has found herself increasingly burdened for individuals struggling with issues of worth, self-care, depression, anxiety, abuse, trauma, relationship difficulties, and loss. It is her passion to combine the truths of Scripture with helpful psychological interventions so that individuals can experience the joy of inner healing that overflows into relationships and impacts future generations.
